Meridian to stay the course on mask wearing

The TEA issued guidance that schools are allowed to continue mandating mask wearing. Meridian will continue to require masks on campus, based upon safety guidelines from the CDC.

March Mammal Madness gives families chance for Tournament Fun

Ms. Reihman, 7th Grade Science, invites Meridian families to join in March Mammal Madness.

While 64 species come into the tournament, only one emerges as champion! Will you choose the winners? Fill out your brackets and post to Padlet before March 7 to be considered.

6pm Tuesday, February 23. Public Hearing and Called Board Meeting

Join us at 6 pm Tuesday via a Zoom webinar for the presentation of the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR). Following this hearing, a called board meeting will take place for Meridian World School and the annual meeting for the International Academy of Williamson County.

School resumes Monday, Feb. 22

It will be a B Day for Secondary students. Meal service will continue as usual, including pick up for distance learners from 11 am to noon Monday.

Weather Update

Weather is worsening more quickly than County forecasters thought, and we are working with the County now to decide whether or not we will conduct an early release.

DEI Listening Session for Athletics Community

Thursday, February 25th, 6:00-7:00 pm via Zoom.
The DEI Listening Session is a time for members of the Athletics community (student athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, and the Athletics Department) to come together to share experiences, thoughts, ideas, and concerns related to Equity (or Inequity) in Meridian Athletics. We encourage all those interested to attend -- whether you have something to share or if you just want to listen.
